Levi is the most-skied resort in Finnish Lapland, and and one of the busiest in the country, drawing well over half a million skier visits a season. It hosts the FIS World Cup slalom, runs 44 slopes off 26 lifts, and added the Levi Six six-seater chairlift in 2024. The village itself is part of the draw, with Levi Boulevard threading restaurants, bars and shops through the heart of it.
With 44 slopes and a 325 m vertical, the spread of terrain is wide enough to keep most levels busy, from gentle beginner pitches to the slalom lines used by the World Cup field. The dedicated snowpark suits freestylers, and 230 km of cross-country trails fan out beyond the alpine area. It genuinely works for families and first-timers as much as for skiers chasing a race-bred groomer.
Kittilä Airport is roughly 15 minutes (about 15 km) away, with direct winter flights from Helsinki and several European cities. That short transfer makes Levi one of the easiest Lapland resorts to reach by air.
The resort village clusters around Levi Boulevard, where lodging, dining and nightlife sit within walking distance of the lifts. Staying central means you can ski, eat and find après all on foot.
