From the summit, a short hike accesses open lines above the trees, with gladed tree skiing on the east flank below. Vertical is around 200 m. Crowd levels stay low even in peak weeks, so laps come without queues.
Services on the hill are limited, so base yourself in Kemijärvi for food and lodging. The terrain is moderate, but the hike-to lines and glades still call for sensible off-piste habits. February to April is the window.
