Vertical is 325 m, with the gladed north side holding cold powder longest. South Point sits below the gondola for quick laps. Venturing beyond the patrolled boundary into the surrounding forest becomes touring terrain rather than monitored off-piste.
Conditions in the designated zones are signposted daily, which makes this a sensible place to build off-piste experience. The wind-loaded south slopes still warrant caution, and Levi's ski schools run freeride lessons that include avalanche basics. February to April is the window.
