Ruka in Kuusamo is the longest-season resort in Finland, typically running October to May, and Ruka Park is the country's leading freestyle venue. It carries progression lines from S to XL plus an airbag, and in peak weeks a halfpipe. It is the home park of several Finnish Olympians.

The park is built around graded jump and feature lines from small to extra-large, letting riders progress through the sizes. It hosts FIS World Cup slopestyle and big-air events on Olympic-spec features. Off-park, the Talvijärvi side has gladed off-piste inside the boundary.

A helmet is required in the park, non-negotiable on features of this scale. The XL lines and competition features are genuinely advanced and demand commitment. The very long October-to-May season makes it the most reliable freestyle venue in the country.
