Levi in Kittilä opens the 2026–2027 alpine skiing World Cup slalom season on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 November 2026. The women race on Saturday and the men on Sunday on the Levi Black slope. According to World Cup Levi, the event is being held for the 22nd time, and the calendar was confirmed at the FIS meeting in January.

The weekend starts a day earlier. On Friday 13 November the opening ceremony and the draw for the women's start numbers are held in the centre of Levi, and the men's start numbers are drawn on Saturday evening.

A weekend ticket for 14 and 15 November costs 45 euros for the race area and 65 euros for the main grandstand. For children aged 7 to 12 the same tickets are 12 and 16 euros.

A single-day ticket costs 32 euros for the race area and 48 euros for the grandstand. For children aged 7 to 12 they are 6 and 10 euros.

The Superyellow weekend package costs 90 euros and includes a grandstand seat on both days and a Finnish-made merino wool race beanie.

A parking ticket costs 20 euros for the whole weekend and 12 euros for a single day.

Tickets are sold through Tiketti. World Cup Levi says the grandstand and Superyellow tickets sell out year after year.

Race VIP for the whole weekend costs 430 euros and the Sunday-only package 270 euros. Both include a grandstand seat, a heated VIP tent next to the race slope with screens showing the commentated race, a VIP menu, bus transfers between the village and the race venue and the merino beanie. The Saturday-only package, also 270 euros, has sold out. Groups can ask Visit Levi's sales team to put together tickets, accommodation and restaurant bookings.

The Levi Lapland Kids Race is run on the front slopes on Friday 13 November for the U8 to U14 age groups, girls and boys.

The first 100 entries get a place, and registration closes on Sunday 8 November. Entries go to race director Jaana Karhila at jaana.karhila@levi.fi.

The entry fee is 40 euros and includes a two-day entry ticket to the World Cup races.

Start numbers are handed out at Zero Point at 11:00, a training clinic runs from 11:30 to 13:00 and the first run starts at 13:45. The discipline is super slalom, and every competitor also gets a second run.

Apulanta plays on Friday 13 November. Doors open at 21:00, showtime is 23:30, tickets start at 43.50 euros and the show is for ages 18 and over.

Steve 'n' Seagulls play on Saturday 14 November. Doors open at 21:00, showtime is 23:30, tickets start at 30.50 euros and the show is for ages 18 and over.

When does the first run start? The organiser has not yet published the start times for the 2026 race days, so you cannot plan the race day hour by hour yet. In 2024 both slalom races started their runs at 11:00 and 14:00.

The race slope depends on stored snow. A warm autumn in 2025 melted roughly a third of Levi's stored snow, and FIS gave the race slope the green light for snow cover on 6 November 2025, days before the race weekend.
